Frederick M. Hess

Hess is author of more than a dozen books about education and writes blogs for Education Week and Education Next, where he is also an executive editor. He is also a Forbes senior contributor and a contributing editor to National Review. He is the founder and chairman of AEI’s Conservative Education Reform Network. An educator, political scientist, and author, his work has also appeared in popular outlets including The Atlantic, National Affairs, The Dispatch, Fox News, New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post.
