Bradley Birzer
Professor of History and the Russell Amos Kirk Chair in American Studies at Hillsdale College
Birzer is a fellow of the Reagan Presidential Library and co-founder of The Imaginative Conservative, an online journal about “culture, liberal learning, politics, political economy, literature, the arts and the American Republic in the tradition of Russell Kirk, T.S. Eliot, [and] Edmund Burke.” Birzer is the author of six books, including Russell Kirk: American Conservative (2015). This book was reviewed for The New York Times, and a review in The Independent Review states that, “For years to come, it will be seen as the standard, if not definitive, account of Russell Kirk's life and ideas." He also serves on the board of trustees of the Free Enterprise Institute.
